Welcome to WorldWave Weddings. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, products, and services. By accessing our site, placing an order, or booking our services, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
**1. Definitions**
- "We," "us," and "our" refer to WorldWave Weddings.
- "You" and "your" refer to the customer, client, or visitor using our website or services.
- "Services" include wedding planning, bridal apparel, custom signage, rentals, and any other offerings provided by WorldWave Weddings.
**2. Use of Our Website**
By using our website, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information when placing orders or submitting inquiries
- Not use our site for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
- Not attempt to access secure areas of our site without authorization
- Not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content, designs, or branding without written permission
All content on this site — including text, images, logos, product designs, and branding — is the property of WorldWave Weddings and protected under Canadian copyright law.
**3. Orders & Custom Products**
- All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.
- Custom signage and apparel items are made to order based on your specifications. Once production has begun, custom orders cannot be cancelled or refunded unless the error is on our end.
- You are responsible for providing accurate customization details (spellings, dates, wording, design selections). We are not liable for errors resulting from incorrect information provided by the customer.
- Production timelines will be communicated at the time of order. Rush orders may be subject to additional fees.
- We reserve the right to refuse any order that contains offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate content.
**4. Rentals**
- Rental items remain the property of WorldWave Weddings at all times.
- Rental periods and return dates will be specified at the time of booking.
- Customers are responsible for rental items from the time of pickup/delivery to the time of return.
- Lost, damaged, or excessively dirty rental items will be subject to replacement fees.
- Rentals must be returned in the condition they were received. A cleaning or damage fee may apply if items are returned in an unacceptable state.
**5. Wedding Planning Services**
- Wedding planning packages are subject to a signed service agreement with detailed terms specific to your event.
- A deposit is required to secure your date. Deposits are non-refundable.
- Remaining balances are due according to the schedule outlined in your individual service agreement.
- Cancellation policies for planning services will be outlined in your signed agreement.
**6. Pricing & Payment**
- All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated.
- We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. Orders already placed at a confirmed price will not be affected.
- Payment is processed securely through our website. We do not store your full card details.
- Applicable taxes and shipping fees will be calculated at checkout.
**7. Shipping & Delivery**
- Shipping timelines are estimates and not guaranteed unless otherwise stated.
- We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers.
- Risk of loss passes to the customer once the item is shipped and a tracking number is provided.
- Local pickup options may be available for certain items — this will be indicated at checkout or by request.
**8. Returns & Refunds**
- Custom and personalized items are final sale and not eligible for returns or refunds.
- Non-custom apparel items may be returned within 14 days of delivery, provided they are unworn, unwashed, and in original condition.
- Rental items are not eligible for refunds once the rental period has begun.
- If an item arrives damaged or incorrect due to our error, contact us within 7 days of receiving your order and we will arrange a replacement or refund.
**9. Limitation of Liability**
WorldWave Weddings is not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services
- Delays or issues caused by third-party vendors, shipping carriers, or venues
- Outcomes of events we do not exclusively manage
- Loss or damage to personal items left at our events or studio
Our total liability for any claim related to your order or service is limited to the amount you paid for that specific product or service.
**10. Privacy**
Your use of our website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which can be found on our website. Please review it to understand how we handle your personal information.
**11. Intellectual Property**
All designs, logos, custom signage templates, apparel designs, and branded content created by WorldWave Weddings remain our intellectual property. Custom designs created specifically for a client may not be reproduced, resold, or distributed without our written consent.
**12. Force Majeure**
We are not liable for failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or other unforeseen events.
**13. Governing Law**
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Alberta.
**14. Changes to These Terms**
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
